I think after so much revision (Chemistry Olympiad helping as well)

I can regain my "A1 for Chemistry form".

Since Chemistry is the subject that has really fascinated me since young anyway.

Explosions and Chemical reactions.

I think you get the idea.

I have finally overcome procrastination.

I'm bored anyway.

Yes, I finally have time to post something.

CHMA.

I'm in.

FINALLY!!!

FFS Auditioned for 4 years and on the 4th year i get to play.

This years auditions were crappy.

The standard of many other bands were seriously shit.

I dare say our band was better than theirs.

Thats why we're the only competitor left in CHMA.

Which brings me to my next point.

Competition with 1 competitor = Live Performance = No competition.

Awesome.

Yong Quan said there would be a guest band with Mr. Mac on drums.

So 2 bands will be performing.

But there is no competition.

Just a gig.

Fantastic.

So now, what song should we play?

Death Metal?

Thrash Metal?

Classic Heavy Metal?

The effects of Popular culture on our very own human morals.

Greed and all that shit.

Selfishness.

Arrogance.

Insensitivity.

Aren't these what the media is drilling into us?

Channels such as MTV,

Magazines such as Teenage,

Music such as Coldplay.

These society damaging forms of media are undermining the conscience of the people.

Mainly Teenagers and Young adults.

By calling rebellious hairstyles and other forms of shit "cool",

These money faced companies pretty much commands teens to be special.

In their own ways of course.

Defiance and Egos are the first symptoms of influence.

Then comes Warped thinking coupled with immaturity.

Like "Sex is Gooooood" that kind of stuff.

Like "Eh got girl got girl!!" and the immediate response "Chio or not?"

Seriously, WTF.

Grow up kids.

There is every reason to link Popular culture as the subtle but major cause of the Screwed society we have today.

So much so that people think mainstream stuff is cool.

And they are right because 80% of the world, brainwashed by media, thinks this way.

They think they can make it big by being conformist.

Again they can.

So the untalented and lazy people succeed and the talented and hardworking people fail.

Tell me, what is this?

Is the human being even intelligent anymore?

What will happen to the human morals instilled in us through the centuries by our ancestors?

I fear for the world.

As usual.
I will not blog in detail about the Learning Journey.
Remember, it's EVENT 1 sentence, OPINIONS the rest of the post.
Overall.
It was kinda cool to see the shit they use in the army.
Guns and stuff.
But it was quite a 1 sided presentation.
The whole thing was really showing the fun side of Army life.
Anyway who cares.
We're guys are going to National Service anyway.
We'll find out whether it's fun by then.


By the way.
I suddenly thought of this.
Since in every religion
"He who does not worship
will be sent to Hell",
And since everyone has only 1 or no religion,
Everyone goes to hell.

In general, Sec 4 school life is very tiring.
However I find myself motivated to study.
It's amazing how the thought of going to some crap JC
Really freaks the shit out of you.
FFS I have to get 4 points.
6 subjects -2 CCA points.
Most probably:
A1 English.
A1 Higher Music.
A1 A Maths.
A1 E Maths.
A1 Chemistry.
A1 Combined Humanities.

He had Heart Disease.

Until Ms Mary Hua came.

He stood up.
